WOW! It's been an amazing, whirlwind of a summer with Art Festivals, new designs and being added as a featured Artist at the River Art Gallery. It's been a busy summer to say the least. Let's recap:
The Glen Park Art Festival was a wonderful event and I enjoyed meeting so many new customers and of course always LOVE seeing my return customers!! Your repeat business and kind words mean the world to me.
Despite the storms and down pours of rain, the Quaker Arts Festival was an amazing event as well. I got to meet and talk to some fine people as we huddled in my tent for long periods to stay dry. I was honored to win an award for "Best Overall Display" at this festival, and can't wait to go back next year. Again, a special thank you to my return customers who came out to see me.
Now as we approach Fall, I have been busy at my bench etching new designs and can't wait to showcase these at my next show: Women's Gifts on Saturday 26 in Babeville, 341 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY 14202.
I hope you will all come out and support this event which features local business women and artists who handcraft all of their work.
Finally, as a way to thank my customers for their continued support, and as an invitation for new customers, please enjoy *FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING* and $10 FLAT RATE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING from October 1 through December 1st, 2016.
*Free Shipping via USPS First Class Mail
Happy Fall Everybody!

Hope to see you there,
Just wanted to share this really neat project I was working on. I didn't list it in my store as it sold right after I posted it on my Facebook page but wanted to post some pics because I've gotten a lot of compliments on it.
I'm planning more designs like this in the near future although not with this exact stone, as each stone is very unique, but stones very similar.
I got a ton of new supplies and gemstones in, and can't wait to get started on some new designs. Right now I'm finishing off some custom orders and you should be seeing more inventory added to my 'ready to ship' page very soon.
Still also have a lot of ready-to-ship items that I haven't had a chance to load into my store so I'll be working on that this week as well.
I would love to hear what you think about this ring or any of the other designs in my store.
I had so much fun at the Gotta Have Art Festival this past weekend and met a lot of really great people. Above is a picture of my booth and jewelry display. I will keep you posted as to which shows I will be attending next.
Making so much inventory for this past show has left me completely depleted of supplies and I am waiting for new supplies to come in. Having this down time has been great from the perspective that I've been able to design a lot of new pieces that I'm excited about diving into. I have some fun designs planned for this Spring and I will share with you along the way as the pieces start to come together.
Back to designing!!
My Spring show applications are starting to come in so I will let everyone know where they can shop my jewelry.
My first show of this year is The Gotta Have Art Festival. It will be held March 4th 5-9pm and March 5 10am-4pm at Clarence Presbytarian Church 9675 Main Street Clarence, NY. There will be over 50 artists exhibiting and the proceeds benefit the Family Justice Center.
I have been really busy getting my inventory ready for upcoming shows and filling customer orders therefore, launching my on-line store has been a slow process unfortunately, but I'm hoping to have that up and running soon.
Thats all for now hope you come by The Gotta Have Art Festival and say hello and help support the local arts community.
I haven't written a blog in a few weeks but have been really busy in my studio. I've been working on a lot of different projects and wanted to share a few pictures of what I've been up to. Our mild winter weather has inspired me to jump ahead to Spring and last week I was working on some fun new bracelets that I will be showcasing on my website and selling at shows this Spring. Here is a glimpse of some of the bezel settings that I am making for them. I handcraft the bezels and then set the stones. Here are the finished bracelets.
I have also been making some stacking rings and bracelets with some new gemstones including amethysts and labrodrites.
This was another fun project I was working on and I'm very happy with how this ring turned out and I'm now working on a matching bracelet.
All of these projects will be added to my store as soon as my website is officially launched. Unfortunately it is taking longer than originally anticipated but I will keep you updated on the official launch date.
That's it for now. Happy Monday everyone!
Just wanted to follow up on some of the projects I've been working on. Here are a couple pictures using some of the gemstones from my last blog. I'm happy with how they came out. Excited to receive some more gemstones today and will share some of those in my next blog. Still working on getting my store page up and running. I have a pretty busy weekend ahead and unfortunately won't be able to work on it. :( but still hoping for an end of January launch.
Well that's it for now, have a great weekend everybody!!
p.s. Shout out to my daughter Kayla for being my fabulous model!!
Today I thought I'd give you a glimpse inside my studio so you can get to know a little bit more about me and what I do. Yes, my bench is a "bit" messy, but I'd like to think about it more like organized chaos. I clean it every night when I'm done working and in the morning when I start again, it doesn't take long before it looks like this. Oh well, there are worse things, I guess! :)
So today I finished up an Abalone Shell Necklace that I started yesterday, Just have to polish and I will add it to my store. Which brings up my website, I am still working on getting my pieces in my store a little bit everyday. Made a lot of progress over the weekend, so things are moving along.
I also got a package from my gemstone supplier today. I love when I receive my packages, I can't wait to open them and jump into a new project. Here are a few of my pics. I always start out with an idea of what I want to make before I purchase them, but after they come I get inspired and go another direction.
These gemstones are absolutely gorgeous, unfortunately the lighting in my studio doesn't do them justice. As I start a new project I'll post pics of how I'm using these stones in my pieces so you can see how they turned out. So that's it for now. Time to clean up my bench....again!!
So I have started to build my website. I have been working on it all weekend, slowly adding pictures to my store and trying to navigate through the pages. This has been a bit daunting since I am more artistic than technical but I must say, I am very proud of myself because I have figured most things out on my own.
My name is Sandy Pallotta owner/designer of Sandra Anne Designs. I love creating new designs in my studio. Follow me to find out what I'm working on now and get a sneak peak and first dibs before it shows up in my store.
