Just wanted to follow up on some of the projects I've been working on. Here are a couple pictures using some of the gemstones from my last blog. I'm happy with how they came out. Excited to receive some more gemstones today and will share some of those in my next blog. Still working on getting my store page up and running. I have a pretty busy weekend ahead and unfortunately won't be able to work on it. :( but still hoping for an end of January launch. Well that's it for now, have a great weekend everybody!! Sandra p.s. Shout out to my daughter Kayla for being my fabulous model!!

![]() Today I thought I'd give you a glimpse inside my studio so you can get to know a little bit more about me and what I do. Yes, my bench is a "bit" messy, but I'd like to think about it more like organized chaos. I clean it every night when I'm done working and in the morning when I start again, it doesn't take long before it looks like this. Oh well, there are worse things, I guess! :) So today I finished up an Abalone Shell Necklace that I started yesterday, Just have to polish and I will add it to my store. Which brings up my website, I am still working on getting my pieces in my store a little bit everyday. Made a lot of progress over the weekend, so things are moving along. I also got a package from my gemstone supplier today. I love when I receive my packages, I can't wait to open them and jump into a new project. Here are a few of my pics. I always start out with an idea of what I want to make before I purchase them, but after they come I get inspired and go another direction. These gemstones are absolutely gorgeous, unfortunately the lighting in my studio doesn't do them justice. As I start a new project I'll post pics of how I'm using these stones in my pieces so you can see how they turned out. So that's it for now. Time to clean up my bench....again!!
Sandra So I have started to build my website. I have been working on it all weekend, slowly adding pictures to my store and trying to navigate through the pages. This has been a bit daunting since I am more artistic than technical but I must say, I am very proud of myself because I have figured most things out on my own. |
